Recyclable Materials Received

  • All loose or baled paper products (most common listed):

    • Corrugated, brown paperboard/kraft with honeycomb like internal air chambers.

    • Mixed paper, a variety of paper grades mixed together including goundwood, box cutting, cereal boxes, newsprint, magazines, corrugated, office paper.

    • Cartons, Food and beverage cartons (contained items such as soup broth, milk, juices). Both self stable and refrigeration required varieties.

    • Cores/Tubes, Brown kraft type material wrapped into a core. Not to exceed 5’ in total length, thickness maximums also present. Cannot contain a plastic barrier or coatings.

    • Office Paper, high grade paper that is a typical mix of the items you would have in your office (writing paper, printed papers, white envelopes). Can be torn by hand and will tear white (inside).

    • Newspaper, anything that is received in your delivered morning paper (small percentage of shiny circulars accepted).

    • Magazines, glossy/shiny paged publication usually held together with spine glue or staples. Can be torn by hand, no coated pages.

    • High Grade Papers

    Paper materials are can be easily torn by hand and contain no wax, film, or other coating. Additional markets are available for coated stock.

  • Post and PreConsumer plastic recycling programs.

    Curbside acceptance of plastics:

    • #1 - PETE

    • #2 - HDPE

    • #4 - LDPE (tubs & containers only)

    • #5 - PP

    Industrial acceptance of plastics:

    Broader programs are available for consistent industrial plastic needs. Material pricing and movement availability is dictated by market demand and supplier consistency.

  • Reducing brand/pre consumer waste through collection and recycling. Empty full goods packaging (liquid or organic). Sustainably handle the contents (composting, animal feed source, methane production, fertilization, water treatment, etc.) and recycle the packaging.
